Do you follow a lot of blogs but rarely read them

or do you follow a few you read regularly?

Answer:

I follow a ton of blogs, but hardly have the time

to read them all. This makes me sad.

I try to concentrate on the ones I receive updates

through email for but am behind on those as well!

I am a bad blogger. LoL

Do you prefer Nook, Kindle, other reader or paper book?

Answer:

I love my "real" books!

I try to always get hardcovers of my fave books.

I have found though,

I am getting more and more books for my Kindle.

I also absolutely adore my Kindle!

The reason I prefer Kindle to Nook is that

there are many more books available.

Another reason for loving my Kindle is

I can read in the dark!! lol

But, I still love my real books.

Answer:

I really do think my blog reflects my personality.

Bright, fun and a little loud! LoL

I am somewhat organized in life but I really try

to keep my blog maintained and looking good.

I think more of my personality comes through

with reviews and my weekly meme, Think Out Loud.

Oh and Think Out Loud just turned 100

Book Blogger Hop #26: Scheduled Vs. Last Minute

Do you answer the Book Blogger Hop questions in advance and schedule them

or do you write your post the night before or day off the Book Blogger Hop?

Answer:

It varies. Right now I am working on this the night before the Hop,

at 10:30pm Thursday night, and I am scheduling it for midnight tonight.

However, it seems most of the time, I don't get around to posting

until the day of the Book Blogger Hop... I'm such a procrastinator!

I had never thought of sitting down and scheduling way ahead,

but that is a great idea and I might change my ways!

Q: To you, what qualifies a book as good or bad? Are some books objectively better than others, or is it purely a matter of opinion?

A: I honestly think it is a matter of opinion. I mean, I may think a book is the bees knees while someone else trashes it or vice versa. So, who gets the final say on what is "better" when it comes to books. Personally, a "good book" for me is one that keeps my interest and makes me have empathy for the characters. A definite "bad book" to me is one with bad grammar or horrible editing mistakes or just bad clunky writing.

Have you ever stopped accepting books from either

authors or publishers to try to catch up?

If not, do you think you ever would?

Answer:

I did stop accepting new books on my blog at one point,

just because I was getting overwhelmed thinking I could read every book!

I never stopped requesting through Netgalley/Edelweiss though!

So, I kind of defeated my own purpose.

I have accepted I will never read every book I want,

and that sucks!

Question:

When you receive new books in the mail, do the older ones get moved to the bottom of your list? Or do you go strictly "by the book" and keep your list with the older first and then the new ones?

Answer:

Well, I don't go "by the book" that's for sure. LoL.

I tend to read what I want, when I want.

Except, of course, if it is for a book tour and I have

a certain post date. This year though, I am trying a

desperate attempt to get caught up on all of my Netgalley books.

Still, not going in order though, but picking

by what sounds interesting to me then.

Definitely, not a good system. LOL
