Retrospect: 2012

HAPPY 2013
TO ALL OF YOU
BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!!!

2012 was a great year for books for me. My goal was 25 books and I read 51! Now I feel like I have speed reading superpowers. That is until I see someone that has read over 300 books in a year. Then I feel like a Sidekick instead of a Hero. (Anyone ever seen Sky High?)

In 2012, I realized that I can't read and review every single book in the whole world. This was devastating to me. Alas, I forged on. Then I learned to really research a book before I commit my time to reading it. Thankfully, this results in me being a happy reader because of so many awesome selectively chosen reads. I can honestly say that all of these books fucking rock. Pardon the language but it is appropriate for the situation...

I am stealing this idea from Alana at Dark Obsession Chronicles. I can't just pick 10 books. So, I am going to list ALL my 5 star reads from 2012. I read a lot of great books, so this may take a while...

WOW!
Out of the 50 books I read in 2012, there are 35 here.
That's pretty awesome!
Also, I just realized that Thinks Books
will be ONE YEAR OLD on January 25, 2013!!
I have learned so much this year through blogging and
through the wonderful bloggers and authors
and tweeters and googlers.... whew.
What I'm trying to say is
THANK YOU!
All of you.

So, does anyone have any suggestions for how
Thinks Books 1 YR Anniversary
should be celebrated?
I shall have to ponder it
and try to come up with something special...

I look forward to spending 2013 with ya'll.
Fingers crossed that it is a wonderful year.
